Landbou Radio – 09 May 2022

When you invest in the young, you create a future for them and their children. That is precisely what Rijk Zwaan, experienced Crop Specialist in South Africa, is doing. They supply seedlings and technical support to various school projects in the country. In our program of 9 May, Ettienne Gerber of the Westview School in Port Elizabeth tells us more about this project and how it also uplifts the community.

Gerrit Burger, Agriculturist at Haifa, talks about optimal growth and yield production. They are frontrunners in the supply of Bio-fertilisers and speciality plant nutrients.

Francois van Eeden, Marketing and Sales Manager at ETGL, Export Training Group Logistics has some information on their history as a company. It is said that this group is the largest producers of cacao and lentils in the world. At Nampo, ETGL will display a range of tractors and implements that makes a producer’s life easier.

Frits van Oudtshoorn, Director of Land Use Training, talks about soil types and the grasses that grow in these areas.
