Nampo Harvest Day has long been recognised as the heartbeat of South African grain production, bringing together farmers, manufacturers and innovators who are shaping the future of agriculture. In 2026, New Holland once again demonstrates its commitment to progressive, high-capacity farming by showcasing an impressive line-up of flagship machinery at stands A2 and A3. With a strong emphasis on large-scale equipment, this year’s display highlights three standout products designed to meet the evolving demands of modern agriculture: the new CR10 combine harvester, the upgraded Genesis® T8 tractor range, and the formidable T9 series tractors.
Together, these machines reinforce New Holland’s position as a key supplier of advanced agricultural solutions for producers who require performance, efficiency and reliability at scale.
CR10 Combine Harvester – Redefining High-Capacity Harvesting
Leading New Holland’s Nampo showcase is the CR10 combine harvester, a machine that represents the next chapter in large-scale harvesting performance. Building on more than five decades of Twin Rotor™ heritage, New Holland has completely rethought combine harvester design to meet the demands of today and tomorrow’s farming operations.
Twin Rotor™ technology was pioneered by New Holland in 1975, and it remains the benchmark for high-output harvesting. The CR10 takes this proven concept to new levels through a completely new design and driveline, engineered to minimise grain losses, protect grain quality and reduce running costs, while leaving fields in optimal condition for the next season.
At the core of the CR10’s performance are its 24‑inch rotors, housed within a wider and longer threshing and separation compartment. This configuration allows smoother crop flow, higher throughput and gentle handling of grain. The result is a combine that can comfortably feed its 16 000‑litre grain tank while unloading at an exceptional 210 litres per second, ensuring maximum productivity during peak harvest windows.
One of the most significant advancements on the CR10 is the revolutionary Twin Clean™ cleaning shoe. This industry-first system features two independent cleaning systems operating simultaneously, with two upper and two lower sieves, dual clean grain sensors and dual pressure sensor sets measuring the cleaning shoe load. Fully automatic operation ensures even cross-distribution and optimum performance, delivering near-zero loss levels even at extremely high capacities.
The residue management is equally advanced. The award-winning IntelliSpread™ radar system automatically controls residue spreading across working widths of up to 18 metres. By compensating for wind conditions, crop type and moisture levels, IntelliSpread™ guarantees uniform residue distribution and consistent field finish, season after season.
Simply put, the CR10 is unmatched in its category. It embodies New Holland’s vision of intelligent capacity – harvesting more, with less compromise, and with absolute confidence in performance.
Genesis® T8 – Versatile Power For Demanding Operations
Following the CR10, the spotlight shifts to the Genesis® T8 tractor range, which has recently been upgraded to meet a broader range of industry needs. Designed as a highly capable all-rounder, the T8 series delivers an ideal balance between power, efficiency and advanced precision technology.
The upgraded Genesis T8 range offers engines producing 195 to 297 kW, delivering approximately 5% more power than the previous generation. This power is transferred to the ground through either the fully synchronised Ultra Command™ powershift transmission or the smooth and efficient Auto Command™ continuously variable transmission (CVT). Heavy-duty axles, robust three-point linkages and drawbars ensure that this power is effectively converted into performance during demanding soil preparation and planting operations.
Hydraulic capacity plays a critical role in modern farming, and the T8 does not disappoint. A 328‑litre‑per‑minute MegaFlow hydraulic pump, combined with six full remote valves, ensures consistent and long-lasting performance with large implements, planters and advanced precision equipment.
Operator comfort and control have also been significantly enhanced. Cab suspension is now standard, providing a smoother ride during long working hours. Inside the cab, operators benefit from two IntelliView™ 12‑inch touch screens, offering intuitive control over tractor functions, implements and precision applications.
The integration of PLM Intelligence™ and telematics, available for life, allows farmers full visibility of their fleet. Through the FieldOps™ database system, operators can monitor machine performance, manage operations and integrate equipment across the entire farm – all within a single, free platform.
For producers operating in challenging conditions, selected Genesis T8 models remain available with rear SmartTrax™ systems, improving footprint, flotation and traction in sandy soils or wet fields.
T9 Series – Unrivalled Four-Wheel Drive Performance
Completing New Holland’s big-machine line-up at Nampo is the T9 series with PLM Intelligence™, the most powerful tractor range the brand has ever offered. Designed for the largest operations and the most demanding applications, the T9 showcases New Holland’s leadership in four‑wheel‑drive tractor technology.
The T9 range delivers engine outputs from 312 to 474 kW, providing up to 6% more power than previous models. This immense power, combined with exceptional efficiency and durability, makes the T9 ideally suited to heavy tillage, large-scale planting and earthmoving work.
As with the Genesis T8, the T9’s cab environment centres around operator comfort and advanced control. Cab suspension is standard, and dual IntelliView™ 12‑inch displays give operators complete control over machine and implement settings. The PLM Intelligence™ platform simplifies complex operations while offering greater adaptability and precision.
Hydraulic performance is equally impressive, with MegaFlow™ II hydraulics delivering 428 litres per minute as standard, along with six full remote valves. This allows seamless operation of the largest and most demanding implements.
Together with integrated connectivity, telematics and FieldOps™ compatibility, the T9 stands as a technological powerhouse that combines strength, intelligence and efficiency in a single machine.
