Strikes at Western Cape fruit farms have farmers worried

HORTGRO has requested a media briefing on the continuing farm strikes in the Western Cape

The media is requested to attend a media briefing session with the leadership of the Deciduous Fruit Development Chamber (DFDC).

The DFDC is an autonomous body under the HORTGRO umbrella, representing emerging fruit producers in various industry structures and functional entities.

The DFDC will be represented by Walter Williams (chairperson), Ismail Motala (representative for the Witzenberg Cluster) and Raymond Koopstad (member of the Witzenberg Cluster).

The venue and time of the proposed briefing session is:

Time: 15h30 for 16h00

Venue: HORTGRO Boardroom, 258 Main Road, Paarl (directions attached)
