Moira Johnston

Ms Moira Johnston is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa as well as a conveyancer. Moira graduated from the University of Cape Town after having successfully completed a four-year undergraduate LLB program.

She completed her articles at a renowned South African law firm, where she was retained as an associate, before transferring to Havemann Inc due to a keen interest in the renewable energy sector.

Moira is currently completing her Masters degree in Marine and Environmental Law at the University of Cape Town.

Luke Havemann

Luke Havemann

Dr Luke Havemann, the founding director of Havemann Inc, is a practising attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Luke is a member of the Maritime Law Association of South Africa and the Environmental Law Association of South Africa.

Havemann Inc is the only specialist energy law firm in Southern Africa, with Luke being the only practicing attorney who holds the degree of PhD in the field of oil and gas law. Luke’s passion for and unparalleled knowledge of his particular field has led to his being invited to present papers regarding topical legislative developments at various international oil and gas conferences (such as the East African Petroleum Conference and Exhibition and Offshore West Africa). 
Gareth Bloor

Garreth Bloor

Garreth Bloor is a prolific writer and international speaker, with work appearing across over two dozen publications and academic journals, receiving local and international awards.
He is chair of economic policy, amongst other duties in the City of Cape Town, responsible for policy, strategy and oversight on annual budget of half a billion rand. Bloor has undergrad and graduate degrees from the University of Cape Town and is the author of Markets and Morality: Ethics and Free Enterprise.
Taryn Springhall

Taryn Springhall

Taryn Springhall is a qualified journalist with more than 7 years’ experience writing feature articles and content for a number of print and online publications. She has been a regular contributor for Cape Media and has written for Opportunity Africa, HIV/Aids in Africa, Ubuntu, Mining Prospectus, Achiever Awards and most recently, Leadership magazine. Taryn is also a marketing and public relations professional and owns a marketing agency that specialises in healthcare IT. Taryn has also taught and facilitated both creative and business writing workshops and was recently commissioned to write a book for a local television production company, due to be published in mid-2012.  Passionate about social change, innovation, chocolate and words, Taryn is also a devoted yogi, friend and cat owner.  
Rizel Delano

Rizél Delano

Rizél Delano has been a freelance writer for Cape Media Corporation since 2005. “During her tenure, she has been an asset to several publications within our stable,” says editor Tracee Harvard.

Rizél frequently contributes to the following Cape Media Corporation publications: Opportunity, Ubuntu, Mining Prospectus, Achiever, Leadership, Explore SA, Black Business Quarterly, and Leadership in Wellness.

Rizel also acts as a copy writer for several corporate companies and advertising agencies writing all public relations, marketing and advertising related material, plus documentary and marketing scripts for DVD productions.

Megan Sell

Megan Sell

Megan Sell is part of the editorial team in Cape Media's production department and has enthusiastically taken to writing various pieces across Cape Media's publications. As an editorial assistant Megan operates across approximately 16 publications. 

Originally involved in theatre production and as a qualified, internationally trained Speech and Drama teacher, she has a flair for telling a colorful story. She is driven to write well-researched, interesting pieces and being labelled as a "chatterbox" since she was 4 years old indicates that words are her true indulgence.
